Short introduction to titles and acronyms used on the pages:
KAER - Finnish hunting test for continental pointing dogs
KAER F - KAER in field
KAER M - KAER in forest
SSK - Saksanseisojakerho ry. - Finnish breed club for all continental pointing dogs
SSK breeding register requirements:
KAER: for bitches at least open class 2nd prize, males at least open class 1st prize.
Shows: Good from two differend judges or very good from one judge.
Hips: HD B or better
KAER classes:
NUO = Youth Class. For dogs younger than 24 months.
AVO = Open Class. For dogs that do not have right to participate in VOI class.
VOI = Champion Class. For dogs who have achieved Open Class 1st prize.
Prizes in KAER test:
AVO1 / NUO1 / VOI1 = 80-100 points (max 100)
AVO2 / NUO2 / VOI2 = 60-79 points
AVO3 / NUO3 / VOI3 = 40-59 points
AVO0 / NUO0 / VOI0 = less than 40 points or disqualified
AVO- / NUO- / VOI-= test interrupted by request of dog's handler.
FI MVA = FI CH - Finnish Show Champion requirements :
3 CAC's from shows
Two open class 2nd prizes (or better) from KAER test.
FI KVA = FI FT CH - Finnish Field Test Champion requirements :
At least Good from show
Three champion class 1st prizes from KAER test. One has to be from KAER F and one from KAER M.
CACIB = CACIB - International certificate dog show
Vara-CACIB - ReserveCACIB
SERT = CAC - Certificate from dog show
VaraSERT = ReserveCAC
Grading in shows:
ERI (Erinomainen) = Excellent
EH (Erittäin hyvä- Very good
H (Hyvä) = Good
T (Tyydyttävä) = Sufficient
Hyl (Hylätty) = Disqualified
EVA (Ei voida arvostella) - Can not be judged
Classess in shows:
PEN (Pentu) = Puppy, 7-9 months (Breed Club Specialties even 5-7 months), unofficial
JUN (Juniori) = Junior, 9 – 18 months
NUO (Nuorten) = Intermediate, 15 – 24 months
AVO (Avoin) = Open, 15 months onwards
KÄY (Käyttö) = Working, 15 months onwards, and the dog has to have test results required for FI CH
VAL (Valio) = Champion, 15 months onwards, and the dog is a Finnish Show Champion or has a champion title from another FCI
country
VET (Veteraani) = Veteran, 8 years onwards
